Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
- (Mark Twain and me)
I discovered that when people say,
Iam into photography .. it means they have bought an used SLR on ebay
Iam into travel .. it means they take pictures and post it in orkut
Iam into working out .. it means they have been to the gym "recently" once.
Iam into hacking .. it means they can write a hello world program in C. a great hacker can also write that in C++
Iam into art .. it means they can successfully deceive their friends that they are appreciating the hangings they see in restaurants
Iam into nature .. similar to above
Iam into blogging .. it means ppl can write crap like this.
Iam into blogging .. it means ppl can read crap like this.
In my opinion, these are some reasons to rate an employer(not from my or any prospective employee of the company's pov but the company's pov itself):
1.Measuring the amount(both code and money) contributed to open-source/open-project like linux, apache, mysql, wikipedia etc.
2.If you can convince some big open source guys
to work for you. Not just some big guys. Why, because open source guys have attitude.
3.The founders stick around till the death of the company or themselves not just leave after cashing out after
4.The most important of all, how many employees that leave the company come back again, because they cannot find a better place or feel at home elsewhere.

Google has nailed the simple definition of internet business.
