I think by luckiness I mean i...yes, I agree with u. I think by luckiness I mean in large part is determined by where/to-whom you are born. If 50% of Indian population cannot afford to send thier kids to ood schools, 50% of children are not lucky. What if I was born in Somalia? Ofcourse, there are ppl who come out admist this, but chances are very less. Still, I wud say its quite unfair that this "luckiness" affects one's life so-much. We are also unlucky in the sense most ppl who are "better" than us, maynot be actually better. But overall I think we are more lucky and less unlucky considering the 6B world-population. Anyway I don't know why Iam even thinking of this :-)Arunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323824769157330655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37059816.post-80296457764924192332006-11-24T05:43:00.000-08:002006-11-24T05:43:00.000-08:00Well, you are trying to get in to a circular logic...Well, you are trying to get in to a circular logic here; prayer itself is a way of "asking" and/or "thanking" - so you would either pray if you think you already have what you want or you would pray if you think you dont have what you want. Between either one of these is where you dont have to or want to pray.

Anyways, if you think you are lucky and certain bunch of others aren'nt then try to fix it either in full or in parts but dont try to let that take away what you had or what you deserved.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37059816.post-40893035581762069912006-11-22T12:35:00.000-08:002006-11-22T12:35:00.000-08:00also for me, the first pic was more "moving" than ...also for me, the first pic was more "moving" than the second one.Arunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323824769157330655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37059816.post-35936926604113722522006-11-22T12:26:00.000-08:002006-11-22T12:26:00.000-08:00anand,

My first feeling(no deep thinking/analysis, just the first feeling) towards the pics were that "we fail to thank God for wat we are but complain for wat we are not".
We are just lucky not to work when we were kid(first pic) and we seekout to God only during our problems in life(prob second pic shows that), not that it is bad. Prob, when I was a kid, I was never better(or actually worse) than this kid, but Iam just lucky to have recieved education. Life is unfair.

Like Jobs in his video "Sorry for being so dramatic, but its quite true" :-)

As for Larry's video, no I havent seen it, will mail u the url, if I come across or manage to find it.Arunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323824769157330655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37059816.post-10948176357657561992006-11-22T04:21:00.000-08:002006-11-22T04:21:00.000-08:00The pictures speak one word to me, "Truthful innoc...The pictures speak one word to me, "Truthful innocence"
Re the Jobs video, I remember a even more dramatic speech by Larry Ellison at some other college graduation ceremony, do you have that link?
